Why Vikings in 2027?

2027 marks the millennium of William the Conqueror, Normandy's most famous duke. To celebrate, the Armada welcomes a fleet of around 40 Viking ships from Norway and Denmark, moored on the left bank (Saint-Sever) — across the river from the tall ships.

How to visit

Cross to the left bank during your day on the quays: the Viking fleet is a short walk over the bridges. Combine it with the tall ships, then climb the Côte Sainte-Catherine for the panorama. See our perfect day plan.
