Apartments & Rentals
Rent a whole place in Rouen.
For families, groups and week-long stays, an apartment often beats a hotel — more space, a kitchen, and better value. Here's how to do it right for the Armada 2027.
Why rent an apartment?
- Better value for 4+ people or stays of several nights — you split one nightly rate.
- A kitchen — do breakfast and the odd dinner in, a real saving when the city is busy and pricey.
- Space & laundry — far more comfortable for families than a single hotel room.
- Live like a local — settle into a neighbourhood for the ten days of the festival.
Best areas to look
- Old town (rive droite): walk to the quays, cathedral and restaurants — the prime choice.
- Rive Gauche / near Rouen Rive-Droite station: usually cheaper, with quick transit to the action.
- Nearby towns (15–30 min): the best rates if the centre is booked out — pair with the easy transport in.
Where to book
We point to platforms with buyer protection and (usually) free cancellation:
- Booking.com — lists thousands of apartments and aparthotels alongside hotels, with free-cancellation filters. The easiest place to start.
- Vrbo — focused on whole homes, good for families and groups.

Airbnb is also worth checking directly on their site — we link to Booking and Vrbo here because they offer booking protection and clear cancellation terms.
Book the dates 17–27 June early and use a free-cancellation rate as insurance while your plans firm up. Apartments for groups are the first thing to disappear around the Armada.
