New for 2027

The Armada 2027 drone show.

The night spectacle gets a major upgrade in 2027 — a thousand drones dancing over the Seine, woven through the fireworks.

Announced for the 9th Armada (17–27 June 2027): organisers have doubled the spectacle budget, adding a choreography of around 1,000 drones over the river each evening, between the fireworks, with reinforced sound along the quays.

What to expect

Across the festival there are nine firework displays, and in 2027 they are joined by nightly drone scenes — luminous shapes drawn in the night sky above the Seine and the moored tall ships. It's part of a wider push to make the evenings the highlight of the event.

When & where to watch

The shows take place in the evening during the festival dates; exact timings appear in the detailed programme closer to the event. The open quays give the best head-on view — and the same riverside spots are ideal for the fireworks and, on the last day, the parade.
