What to pack

What to do in Rouen in July

July is peak season for the Seine quays and outdoor dining. Take advantage of the light for an evening visit to see the Cathédrale de Lumière, or head out to Giverny, where Monet's flower garden is at its most colourful with dahlias, roses and sunflowers in full bloom.

Visiting for the Armada (17–27 June 2027)? The event itself runs in June, but July keeps the same warm, sociable Normandy summer — a great time for a quieter follow-up trip once the fleet has sailed on. See our June weather guide for Armada-specific advice.
