Summer 2026 · Free Event

Rouen sur Mer 2026 — Free Urban Beach on the Seine Quays

The left bank of the Seine turns into a sandy playground this summer — with pedalos, kayaks, diving lessons, mini-golf, live concerts and zero entry fee.

Rouen sur Mer is back for its 19th edition from 3 July to 2 August 2026, transforming the left-bank quays into a full-scale urban beach. Think sand, water sports, kids' activities, evening concerts and plenty of space to just lie down with a book — all completely free.

Whether you're visiting Rouen for the Armada 2027 planning trip, passing through Normandy this summer, or a local looking for a cheap day out, here's everything you need to know.
