Confirmed for 2027 · France

L'Étoile du Roy

three-masted frigate (replica) — one of the first ships confirmed for the Armada de Rouen 2027.

About the ship

A spectacular replica of an 18th-century corsair frigate, all cannon ports and square rigging. Based in Saint-Malo, L'Étoile du Roy looks like she sailed straight out of a pirate film — a firm crowd favourite on the quays.

What to look for

The gun deck, the figurehead, and the period detail of a privateer warship.

Like the rest of the fleet, L'Étoile du Roy will be moored along the Rouen quays from 17–27 June 2027, and boarding is free. Go early in the day to climb aboard before the queues build — the most famous ships draw crowds by mid-morning. See the full fleet and the programme.

Boarding times & sailings: the official schedule (and any day-sail or cruise options) is released closer to the event. Join the list and we'll send it as soon as it's out. Prefer to sail rather than just visit? See our experiences and Seine cruises.
